Tubelight box office collection on first day was average and has registered itself in this year’s second highest opener at box office with an earnings of approximately 20 crores. On second day of its release Tubelight collection did not gear up much. Tubelight second day box office collection was good for first day but since it is ‘Bhaijaan’s’ movie so box office had huge expectations with it which is yet not fulfilled by Tubelight Saturday box office collection.

Tubelight Second Day Box Office Collection:

As per Salman Khan starrer movies, Tubelight 2nd day box office collection is standing at number 7. Tubelight Second day box office collection has preceded Dabangg 2, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger and Kick. Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were also pre-Eid releases but have performed well on box offices on first day, where on the other hand Tubelight has failed to do so. It was expected that Tubelight second day box office collection or first day collection will break the records of this year’s biggest release Baahubali 2, even Tubelight weekend collection failed too.

Tubelight has been released on across 4350 silver screens across India and on 1200 silver screens overseas, expecting that it will massively affect the Tubelight earning which did not. The movie is made under a budget of Rs. 100 crores exclusive of Salman Khan’s fee, the production cost is Rs. 80 crores and marketing costs Rs. 20 crores.

Tubelight 2nd Day Box Office Collection Prediction:

The movie did not perform well on the first day and closed the box office counters at Rs. 22 crores. Tubelight on its second day witnessed less occupancy on its morning shows whereas the later shows got more occupancy. The second day collection closed the box office counters at approximately Rs. 40 crores with almost 65% of occupancy in movie theaters. Along with the second-day collection movie has now collected around Rs. 60 crores approximately. Talking about places like Delhi & NCR witnessed more audiences in theatres whereas in places like Gujarat and Maharashtra less occupancy was seen. South India has the lowest occupancy in theatres for Tubelight. Since the movie Tubelight is a pre-Eid release so it is still expected to earn well after Eid and hopefully will live upto box office’s expectations.

Tubelight has already registered itself in the golden books of history before its release. The late veteran actor Om Puri is seen for the last time in this movie. Om Puri was the finest actor of Bollywood and has left Bollywood mourning since he left. With the last release of Om Puri’s career, he has as usual justified his character in his last performance too. Tubelight is an adaptation of 2015 Hollywood film ‘Little Boy’. Kabir Khan has written the script and dialogues with Parveez Shaika and Manurishi Chadha. The movie revolves around the story of a man’s unshakable faith in himself and the love for his family. With their latest Eid release ‘Tubelight’, Kabir tells us the story of a small-town simpleton Laxman (Salman Khan) who is waiting for his brother Bharat (Sohail Khan) to come back home safely as he is braving the war. It is based on the 1962 Indo-China war.

Tubelight depicts how people and their feeling gets affected when their countries go to war. It also tells us that ‘hope pulls us through in any situation we may find ourselves in’.

In the starting of the movie, we are shown how Laxman (Salman Khan) had spent his childhood. In this movie, he plays a very vulnerable role which is refreshing. It is important to note that for someone who is as bulky and toned up like Salman, it takes some time for us to get used to him playing a role of someone who is considered slow, childlike and emotional.

The bond shown between the two brothers is tremendous. Kabir smartly paired up real-life brothers who are extremely close to each other on the screen. Their scenes together are so natural and refreshing. Sohail’s role is limited to few scenes because after the army comes around for the recruitment drive Bharat (Sohail) gets selected to fight in the war.

This is the turning point for Laxman because he has never lived without his brother. They are raised by an uncle (Om Puri) but both have helped each other grow, and overcome bullying as kids — this is all portrayed through a song montage,  Naach Meri Jaan.

There’s a sweet little guy in this movie which makes Laxman get attached to Matin Rey Tangu. As his father has also gone to fight in the war.

The one constant of the film is Laxman’s ability to have faith: that everything will be alright, and his brother will return. And guess who makes that happen? Shah Rukh Khan. The famous scene itself was a tad underwhelming, but SRK’s act brings Laxman a much-needed boost of confidence. Shah Rukh Khan plays a crucial role in the film in one scene with Salman but their scene together, which talks about magic, people hardly felt any magic. The movie did not work as it was expected. However, it is nice to see Salman associating himself with different kinds of scripts with movies like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan‘ and now ‘Tubelight’.

All in all Tubelight’s rating is 3Stars.

Tubelight Box Office Collection- Salman Khan to break records of 2017:

As always, Salman is ready to surprise his fans with the most awaited gift on the occasion of EID. Tubelight is set to release on 23rd June and is assumed that it’d break all the previous records of any movie released in recent times. According to the trailer, the movie is based on a war drama which is set up during the Indo-China war. The intimidating scenes are all set to break all the records. if the critics are to be believed, the movie might also break the record set by Bahubali-2. What more to expect from the movie… Salman khan’s previous movies have already broken records and have joined the 300 crore club.

As far as Tubelight first day box office collection is concerned, here is our analysis:

The movie is made out of the budget of 100+ crores including the advertising & promotional costs.

If the trends are to be considered, the movie might cross 100  crores in the first day and join the 100 crore club. Also because the movie is being released on Friday which is also the occasion of EID, the Tubelight Friday collection would anyhow cross the 100 crore mark.

We’ve seen films like Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan cross the 100 crore mark very easily and now we are ready to see a massive Tubelight box office collection.

 

Tubelight First Day Earning:

The movie is set to release on more than 4500 screens. As it is a Salman Khan movie, you can expect a lot of drama and hype around it. Across the Globe, it has been promoted like anything, so you may expect it as a blockbuster hit!
