JEE Main is being organized by CBSE from many years. The Number of participants was increased every year. Last year, around 13th Lakh candidates appeared for JEE Main. In 2016, more than 16 lakh candidates will participate. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the national level engineering test for getting admission in reputed Colleges/ Institutes. Every year, CBSE conducts JEE Main in two modes, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B.Planning) was conducted only in Pen and Paper Based Mode which was successfully organized on 3rd April 2016. The candidates who have chosen JEE Main Paper 1 participated they appeared on 9th April CBT Test. This JEE Main Paper 1 contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths. All Questions are Objective Type with equal weithtage to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The Question paper was provided to the students in both English and Hindi Modes. This is 3 Hours duration examination contains a total of 90 questions (30 Questions each subject) and marks per question is 4. It means JEE Main 2016 Test was conducted for 360 highest marks. Negative marking is also applied.
