GATE 2016 Exam Analysis of Morning/ Evening Session 31 Jan 

GATE 2016  Exam was successfully conducted on 31st January 2016 in two shifts Morning  i.e. 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and Afternoon 2.00pm to 5.00pm. All the candidates are excited to know the answer examination and waiting for the GATE 2016 Answer Key for examination. The answer key will be released on the official website according to the streams of Session 3 i.e. ME and EC and Session 4 i.e. EC, AR, CY, IN, MA and PE. So the Exam just got over and here is the analysis of GATE 2016 exam.

The GATE examination paper contains 60 questions of 100 marks in which 10 question are  from  general aptitude, in every stream and other questions are from all other subjects. GATE 2016 EC Paper consists of 1 marks question are easier than 2 marks questions. Candidates  appeared for GATE 2016 ECE Paper has mentioned that the number of numerical question is increased and timing consumption is high as per compared to other.

The examination paper is based on Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) & Numerical Question type. The overall difficulty level of the examination paper was high. The paper was based on  general aptitude, engineering mathematics, networks etc for electronic engineering and  for mechanical engineering the paper  is based on the topics such as  strength of the material, general aptitude, machine design, heat transfer etc. First time this year, candidates also allowed use the virtual calculator in the examination.
