It’s been a long time, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam was seen on the national news. He came to the new bulletin today. But this was not the News that was expected. Our Indian Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam died on 27th July, 2015. The news has been confirmed by all the major news channel and Journalist.
How did it happened?
Our Indian Former president and Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam, 83, collapsed during a speech at the IIM Shillong and was rushed to the nearby Bethany Hospital. All the doctors tried to revive him, they put him on oxygen. But all went into vain and Dr. Kalam died on Monday after collapsing during a lecture in Shillong.
“He was brought into hospital without a pulse or BP. There was no sign of life”, John Sailo Ryntathiang, director of Bethany Hospital told the Quint.
Kalam served as president for five years from 2002, enjoying the support of both the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress.
His Contribution for India
He was one leader who was so educated, he was closely involved in the country’s civilian space programme and military missile development efforts, earning him the sobriquet ‘India’s Missile Man’. Dr. Kalam has also worked as a scientist and science administrator, mainly at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) before he became president.

Dr. Kalam also played pivotal technical and political role in India’s Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, shortly after the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government came to power.
Dr. Kalam not greedy of the Chair after completing his term, returned to a life of education, writing, and public service.
Now after his Death today (27th July, 2015) Centre has declared a national mourning of seven days.
“Dr. Kalam was a man of impeccable character, indomitable spirit, profound knowledge and firm conviction. His death is an irreparable loss to this nation. He has left a big void hard to fill,” said home minister Rajnath Singh.
His Full Name was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. Born on 15 October 1931 in a poor Tamil Muslim family in Rameswaram. But he overcame all odds to study physics and aerospace engineering.
Recently on Facebook few days ago, a news was spread about his death which was just a Rumour. Has come true. On 25th July, A politician was seen giving testimonial of his death. Now the whole country has turned into it. The whole country is mourning for him.
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was one of the finest Physicist India ever had, he will always remembered. As the Teacher, as Indian Former President and a great Man.
