Banjo First Day Box Office Collection : Banjo, Parched and Days of Tafree were released this Friday, all three of them got tepid response across the globe. No hype was seen before the release and even after the release of these movies. Banjo 1st day box office collection is being overruled by Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink. Banjo first day collection was tamed. it features Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri which failed to spice up the interest amongst the audience. Riteish outshines in multi starer movies often and in this release of his, he has failed to outgrow as a solo hero. Opening day collection of Banjo witnessed only 17% of occupancy in morning shows. Since the movie is based on Marathi roots so it got a better start in Maharashtra as compared to other states of India.

In defiance of Pink’s second week of release, movie is still being watched and liked by the movie buffs. Banjo box office collection will be null & wide as the enthu of Pink has not faded out yet. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “ #Pink Fri 4.32 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 9.54 cr, Mon 3.78 cr, Tue 3.51 cr, Wed 3.87 cr, Thu 3.24 cr. Total: ₹ 35.91 cr. India biz. Pink will keep on enjoying the success and dominate the other releases of this week.”

Ravi Jadhav, Marathi filmmaker fame of Timepass debuted in Bollywood with Banjo. For a great start Banjo has catch hold of five screens per multiplex, hope this would increase Banjo first day box office collection.

Banjo Opening Day Business/Banjo First Day Box Office Collection

Banjo closes at Rs. 1.25 crores approximately on its first day screening. The producer figure for Banjo first day box office collection is Rs. 1.73 crores approximately. Banjo opening day business was very poor but if we compare it to other releases of both the stars then it was better. Total budget of Banjo is Rs. 30 crores which include 20 crores of production cost and 10 crores of advertising & print cost. The movie has been released only in domestic areas on across 1500+ screens. Banjo is a low budget film which requires earning of at least 45 crores approximately for being in the hit list movies. Banjo has earned over 60 lakhs approximately in Maharashtra and performed very poor in Northern areas of India comparatively.

Banjo first day box office collection was awful at the box offices. Riteish plays a banjo artist Tarraat along with his team members and Nargis plays an NRI musician who provides him fame and what happens further in their lives.

Media is still waiting for team’s reaction over Banjo first day box office collection. It has got a heartbreaking response. IMDB has rated Banjo 7.4 out of 10 stars. Banjo is a musical, action thriller and drama packed movie. Banjo definitely does not come on the list of must watch, watching this movie or not will barely make any difference. Hoping Banjo to perform well in weekends for getting it listed in hit movie list.
