Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria to win this scholarship:
- Students who are going to apply for study in UK first apply for admission and when they will get confirmation letter they will be eligible to apply for this scholarship program.
- Candidates must not have any undergraduate full-time degree from any Scottish university
- Candidates who previously accept the scholarship awards from Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship system are not allowed to apply.
- Candidates can apply in any program of BS, MS and PhD degree program.
- Candidates must be the citizens of Canada, Japan, India, USA, China, Hong Kong and Pakistan.
- Non-English speaker students including Pakistani students, sometimes, ask for the English Language proficiency. So, the students (if required) must submit the English Language Proficiency Certificate such as IELTS, TOEFL etc.
- Applicants who do not meet with the requirement must not apply for the scholarship. In case of non-eligibility, the applications will be rejected.
Required Documents Checklist

- Valid passport with at least 6th-month validity with blank pages,
- Passport size photographs (if required).
- Original attested scanned academic documents or records and transcripts are required to show.
- Applicants will show English Language Proficiency Certificate (if required).
- Applicants must show a statement of purpose (for the undergraduate program) that shows what your interest of study is and for what major subject you are looking to apply for.
- Applicants must narrate their study plan (for master degree consists of at least 800 words).
- Candidates submit a proposal of research (for PhD degree program).
