Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and trouper actor Dharmendra recreated the magic of their on-screen friendship 40 years later in the final episode of TV show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’. The Pair wowed fans with their perfect bond in the Ramesh Sippy classic movie Sholay and fascinated many through their roles of Jai and Veeru. This time, they also recreated the jubilation of the memorable song Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge in which they were seen riding a bike with a bike attached with another chair. Amitabh took to Facebook on Saturday to share photographs of the star plus show’s finale, in which Dharmendra can be seen riding a bike while Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) is standing in the bike. When Veeru and Jai met on the show ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi’, then this time also the song memories of this song ‘Ye Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge’ again happened. The song is so prevailing even after 40 years. This is the magical moment for their fans because in very few instants in which we get to see them together. Those were the days, Amitabh wrote together with the photograph.

It was the iconic friendship between Jai and Veeru that won the hearts of the audience. The love and hotness of Jai and Veeru’s bond could be felt on the sets of Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi, where the duo remembered the ‘Yeh Dosti’ moments on their famous scooter. Both the actors were as jolly as they had been in the film. The actors made their fans sentimental as they took to stage looking full of life and energy as they did four decades ago. Big B later took to his blog to share his experience and said, “Friend, colleague, neighbour and a gentle giant Dharam Ji graced Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi with son sunny… Dharam ji doing a dubs mash of Jai from Sholay with the mouth organ for Jaya on the roof lighting candle lamps… such a sport!!”

Considered as one of the biggest classics of Indian cinema, Sholay, released on august 15, 1975. Sanjeev Kumar, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan also played an important role in this movie Sholay. Besides Dharmendra, the final episode of Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi will also feature his son Sunny Deol and Actors Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor. Sunny and Sonam came to promote his new upcoming movie ‘Ghayaal Returns’. The chemistry between Dharmendra and Sunny is fibulas and this is a proud moment to see them together.
